About the event
Identifying wild plants is an ancient, invaluable human skill. Plants provide food, medicine, useful materials for tools, supplies and more. Indeed, humans around the world have cultivated healthy relationships with wild plants, and all non-humans, for hundreds of thousands of years outside the realm of industrial civilization.
Join us for a walking urban foraging tour. We'll identify the various wild edibles that we see along the way. We'll walk a short but hilly loop around Munjoy Hill. Bring a basket to collect a few samples!
