nature is often overlooked as a healing balm
for the emotional hardships in a child’s life
Our mission is to build community, create space for exploration of small-scale, place-based living skills, enhance local resilience in greater Portland, and the state of Maine, and ultimately contribute to the hard work of rewilding and decolonizing the world.
Whether it's used for a student's scholarship, supplying and maintaining hand tools for workshops, or rental fees for use of spaces, your donations are vital to sustaining our work.
10% of all of our proceeds support wildlife conservation and indigenous peoples of Maine.
We are committed to providing a space in southern Maine to learn small-scale skills and to study rewilding for as many people as possible, and at a low cost to the participant. We don't need lots of money to preserve, build and resurrect wild, moneyless ways of being. We do need a bit of money to make some specific ends meet as we travel along the path.
Thank you, again and again, for all of your generous support. We wouldn't be here without you.
