let us be grateful to people who make us happy,
they are the charming gardeners
who make our souls blossom.

MARCEL PROUST

Donors and Grantors

We are grateful to every individual person who donates to support our mission, and also to the benevolent organizations that fulfill our specific requests for funding. When monies are not being used for specifically outlined projects, granted funds are used to support general operating expenses, like the purchase and maintenance of tools and teaching/gardening supplies, advertising and administrative costs, insurance coverage and other legal support, staff salary and contractors' fees, outreach, and to offer tuition scholarships for students.

Sponsors

There are some organizations who may sponsor our program series, or a specific class or a workshop, or a particular project; their support is invaluable and we are grateful. Their names are listed here.

We exist to support our communities: the immediate land we live on, human and nonhuman residents of so-called Portland, and the Casco Bay region, greater southern Maine, and the state. As an educational nonprofit organization, we are committed to keeping class tuition affordable for everyone, offering regular free skills workshops and providing scholarships to eligible students on an as-needed sliding-scale basis.

Are you interested in supporting the mission of our organization by donating, or becoming a sponor?

The application process is simple: just tell us a bit about who you are, and where you're coming from.

Answer these questions with as much complexity as you feel moved to. What excites you most about rewilding? What has been your experience, if any, of practicing place-based living skills? Most importantly, which upcoming programs, or projects, are you most interested in sponsoring?

Thanks! Message sent.
