Make some barefoot-style minimalist running sandals using a variety of ancient patterns and techniques. The sandals we make may be inspired by many different examples created by different groups of peoples around the world and across time.

The truth is, our feet evolved over millions of years to do a few specific things, namely: walk, run and stand. The things that feet do don’t work as well if the feet can’t move, bend and flex to feel the Earth. Modern shoes and boots may contribute to physical ineffectiveness and bad posture. Avoiding shoes as much as possible can be beneficial. Many people prefer wearing barefoot-style, slippers, sandals, moccasins, wrestling shoes, for this reason.
Learn to make some barefoot-style minimalist running sandals using a variety of ancient patterns and techniques. We'll measure our feet, cut the leather, punch the holes and use leather thong or paracord to lace 'em up. The sandals we make may be inspired by many different examples created by different groups of peoples around the world and across time.
